I can’t say enough great things about Neshanic Station Apiaries. I first went for one of the many classes they offer. I took the beeswax lantern class and it was so creative and fun! On top of the classes, their farm store is amazing with delicious honeys, candles, lotions, soaps and so much more. I definitely recommend stopping by to see all they have to offer!
Took a fabulous class making beeswax lanterns today! Anna was so patient teaching us all how to create, customize, and display our own lanterns. (That’s right….we made 2!) As An added bonus… We got to spend some time (if interested) with their goats, peacocks/hens, and gorgeous dog! Wonderful afternoon!
My partner and I had a fantastic experience on the apiary tour with Jen as our guide. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and approachable, making the entire tour enjoyable and informative. The variety of honeys available was impressive, with many unique flavors to choose from. The goats were an added bonus—Sammy, in particular, was super friendly and made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend this tour!"
Let’s talk honey. Neshanic Station Apiaries have the absolute best. I discovered them at a farmers’ market and I was in love. Their raw creamed honey is a wonderful complement to bread (any bread!!!). Such spreadable yummy goodness. I made the mistake of sharing with my brother when he visited from Texas, and now I have to send them to him whenever he runs low. I am a fan of the Creamed Wildflower Honey with Ginger, excellent with tea, iced or hot! My nephews love the creamed honey with cacao.
I also worked with the owner, Anna, to make party favors. I wanted to make wedding favors for a friend and thought honey would be perfect. It was such a hit! The bride said that many of her guests gushed over “the best honey” they ever had. And when I needed favors for my mother’s birthday party, I once again turned to Neshanic. Once again, a huge hit.
You can’t go wrong getting your honey directly from their cute farm, or at your local farmers’ market where they have a stand. You won’t regret it!
I finally had time to visit this cute little farm & absolutely loved it! Anna was just so sweet and the animals were as lovely! I did purchase honey and the quality is amazing! I use the honey every morning and additionally I got a honey/cinnamon mixture (it’s basically done as you’ll see in the photo) which is amazing for coffee & teas but you can use it for everything! If you’re looking for local farms to support, I do recommend checking out this one!
