This is an excellent local hardware store with a friendly staff!
As a homeowner, I always turn to Hoffmans when I need supplies or advice for home projects. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, making every visit a great experience. I choose them over big box stores every time.
I purchased very nice Pavers from Hoffman and they have a nice election, howeverI purchased several truckloads of crushed concrete for a large Project a Couple of years ago And every truck was light as far as quantity, So I had to re-order because of that several times. But the thing that hurt me the most was that I paid more than double than other stores to purchase large sacks of Qualitygrass seed, I planted Half of an acre with Hoffman‘s grass seed Which turned out to be all crab grass thick, disgusting lumps of crab grass over the entire front yard. It was definitely crab grass seed Because we tested it. Sure enough.
I Worked myself very hard to remove the crab Grass but then I purchased Kentucky Bluegrass seed for half the price elsewhere. I have a beautiful lawn now. This is my experience. I’m a contractor, so I’ll only Go to Hoffman when I Really have to.
We park in the yard, because our driveway is narrow. It can get so muddy we barely get our cars out. Instead of hauling bags of heavy rock, we decided to ask about a truck load to spread. The price was great! The service on the phone was great! And the delivery was on time and right where we needed it. Highly recommend Hoffman's for rock delivery.
This has become my go-to place for all of my big outdoor projects. They have a very large selection of equipment to rent, all sorts of landscaping/gardening material for bulk purchase and they deliver too. I have never experienced anything less than superb customer service as well.
I recently ordered a load of soil for my raised veggie beds. They surprised by coordinating SAME DAY delivery on a holiday weekend, which allowed me to finish my project much sooner than I expected.
