I brought my 11 year old son here because he loves airplanes and wants to be a pilot. We really enjoyed it! The small handmade models of crashes and fighting scenes was amazing! Someone really took their time to make them all! The volunteer we spoke with was nice and informative. He is a retired pilot and told my son some interesting facts. This place was only 30 min from my house and I never knew! I know military and teachers get a discount.
It's not the largest museum but the experience is 5/5 because they let you casually walk around and see anything for only a nominal admission fee, all the employees are happy to talk to you about whatever, and you can even climb into some of the planes which I've never seen in another aerospace museum. After the main museum you can go out back and watch planes take off and land from the regional airport, and get lunch from the cafe which is decent pub food type fare.
Excellent museum with friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate volunteer staff to answer any questions you can imagine. You can spend 30 minutes or an afternoon here, depending on your interest level. Would definitely recommend to anyone into aviation history. They have everything from models, to actual aircraft, to engines, to weaponry, to uniforms and more. Be sure to visit if you're in the area, or even if you're not.
The Air Victory Museum is a hidden gem—modest in size but packed with character, history, and unique exhibits. It offers both rare military jets and interactive features like a sit-in cockpit and restoration viewing. The staff are passionate and knowledgeable, making the trip feel personalized and engaging.
Great for aviation lovers, casual explorers, and families alike—especially when paired with a stop at the airport café next door. If you're in South Jersey and have even a mild interest in flight, it's absolutely worth the visit.
Visiting family in Delaware and randomly picked this spot to meet a friend at a halfway point from New York. We weren't disappointed. The vets working there took the time out to explain many of their exhibits. I was a little surprised that there was a lot of navy planes. Some good historical items on display as well and plenty of models on display. Worth taking the kids to. Make sure you check the schedule.
