Ray is just the best, I keep going back because he’s a pro and one of a kind!
Nice barbershop. I was able to get a haircut on short notice and everyone there was friendly and personable. Dylan was my barber and i really liked how it came out. It was my first time there, but I definitely plan on going back.
I knew Northside Barber Shop was there for years, but I never bothered, opting to go to other places, thinking somehow "they" were better.
A few years ago I decided to give Northside a try. And that it when I met Gloria. Not many female barbers around.
Gloria is amazing and very meticulous with haircuts. She is an artist.

I moved from Los Angeles, CA about two years ago and was looking for a real legit barbershop for a while when I moved to Brick, NJ. When I found Ray at Northside Barbershop, I was taken back with my experience. Ray is by far one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. Him and his whole shop are real down to earth people and give such a welcoming vibe the minute you walk in. The shop is always clean no matter how busy they are. I wouldn’t go to anyone else even if I’m in dire need of a haircut. I’d rather look like a bum than go to a different barber. If you’re looking for a good haircut and a chill shop, Ray and Northside Barbershop is the place to go.
I've been going to Ray for almost a year. Very humble, friendly and kind. Quick to greet you with a smile and a hello. Even when he has someone in a chair. Continues conversation flow throughout. Does an awesome job and charges extremely fair prices. I highly recommend him and his talented barber staff to all.
