NuYu Acupuncture

I’ve struggled with chronic neck, upper back, and trapezius pain for nearly nine years. The tightness and stiffness worsen with stress, poor sleep, and cold environments, and recently the pain began radiating from both sides of my neck to the base of my skull and up to the top of my head when pressed. Despite normal X-rays and trying chiropractors, acupuncture, and myofascial treatments over the years, nothing truly helped.
Finding NuYu Acupuncture and Dr. Liu felt incredibly lucky. She took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening in my body in a way I could actually understand, and the treatment brought real relief after just the first session. I was visiting NYC at the time, but her care was so effective that I chose to take a five-hour train ride each way to continue treatment for a week. Dr. Liu is not only highly knowledgeable and skilled, but also genuinely kind, patient, and attentive. I’m deeply grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone dealing with chronic pain!!!

I have chronic back and hip pain. Surgery years ago made it worse. I have been coming here for a few months and it really, really helps! Dr Lucy Liu is just wonderful! She treated me for GERD, I’m off meds. She helps with my chronic headaches and has really helped me reduce stress and just feel much more balanced. Very highly recommend her.
I also had tripped over something and landed on my shoulder in November. She treated it and I was so mi h better the next day. Healed up so nicely!

I have been seeing Lucy for almost a year now after unsuccessfully seeing another acupuncturist for fertility issues. My husband and I saw her for a month, beginning in February, pre-Covid shutdown.
