Room 1024 showed some minor maintenance issues. Cleanliness was so-so as one white bed sheet were stained with something in one of the beds. For over $500 a night, wouldn't expect that. $65 Resort fee excessive given it was off season (November) and all that available off season was morning coffee and Gym. Obviously location is fantastic.

Our son and daughter-in-law got married at Ocean Place in Long Branch NJ in August 2025. It was a fun wedding and the weather mostly cooperated and they had their ceremony on the beach. We were happy that it worked out. That being said, working with OP was a difficult experience at times and the physical plant disappointing. They charge top dollar and don’t provide top dollar service. It was a kosher wedding so the catering was done with an outside vendor and we were quite happy. However, the venue is run down and worn in places. Bathrooms adequate- they need a renovation. Lobby for the venue has cracked tiles and worn furniture. The beautiful ocean doesn’t disappoint but when you look closely the rest is a bit shabby. We met with the event manager a few times and in person and he was great. However, you can’t get him on the phone, he doesn’t return emails, etc. The day of wedding when the AC wasn’t working in places when we got there he was nowhere to be found. The party did run smoothly but getting to that day was a bumpy ride at times. This was not our first child getting married- it shouldn’t be like this. If you are set on the venue, be forewarned!

My family and I have been coming here for years. The exceptional service is what really makes it stand out. We have had the pleasure of being helped by Eddie every year that we come. Eddie and all the staff at the beach are great. They make the beach day such a breeze and are so helpful. They even helped me get a bucket to fill up my baby’s mini pool at the beach. That type of service is invaluable! You won’t be disappointed!
