The best children’s library in the area
I recently visited the Old Tappan Library to take some xerox copies, and I was truly impressed by their kindness and hospitality. The staff guided me so respectfully and treated me like family. They went above and beyond to help and made sure I had everything I needed. Really grateful for such a wonderful experience! ❤️🔥
Beautiful library, but my autistic son got upset when it was time to leave, and we were asked to leave while in the process of transitioning him to leaving. I see in another review the library commenting on being accepting of noises of children and it not being a "quiet" library. We did not have this experience. My autistic toddler was not met with any understanding today.
Our local branch library is a gem and, for us, the heart of the community. My young niece and nephew love the children's room for the many toys, the fish, the programs and crafts. Thanks to the beautifully curated collection they're also learning, as the two-year-old put it one day, "Books are interesting and cool."
I cannot sing enough praises for my local library! The Old Tappan Public Library is truly a gem in our community, and I find myself constantly amazed by the fantastic programs they offer for adults. The variety and quality of these programs make it a standout institution.
I recently participated in a self-defense class, and I must say it was an empowering experience. The instructor was knowledgeable, and the practical, hands-on approach made the learning both enjoyable and effective. It's incredible that the library provides such valuable life skills to the community.
The estate planning lecture was another highlight. The presenter is an expert in their field, and I walked away with a wealth of information that has proven invaluable in planning for the future. The library's commitment to providing educational resources on such important topics is commendable.
Moreover, the fact that I could get CPR certified right at the library is just fantastic. This convenience is a game-changer for busy individuals who want to acquire life-saving skills but struggle to find the time. The instructor was thorough, and the certification process was seamless.
Beyond these specific programs, the overall atmosphere of the library is welcoming and conducive to learning. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist.
Kudos to the library team for consistently delivering outstanding programs that enrich the lives of its patrons. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunities for growth and learning that this library provides, and I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved five-star rating!
