This was the 2nd year we used Pinelands Adventures for a canoe/ kayak trip. Had such a great time drifting down the batsto river. Crew at Pinelands was great. Highly recommend booking with them!
I had a great time canoeing the Mullica River this weekend. The first couple miles were a bit of a challenge with how winding the river can be but the second half was smooth sailing. It was worth the effort in any case.
The people at Pinelands adventures were knowledgeable and friendly. Great service, I plan on going again next spring.
Drivers and employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. Check in was easy and they have you text their number so you can check in at a certain point but also if you’re lost, you can reach out. Went on Sunday around midday and the water was calm and not crowded. Bring cash for tips!!
Me and my fiancé did the 6mile self guided kayak trip, Quaker Bridge to Barstow Village and had a blast! No rapids or anything like that, calm pace, but definitely a few obstacles which made it even more fun and challenging! Mile markers all along the river help you keep track of where you are!
We did Bring-Your-Own kayaks for a discounted price and was WELL WORTH IT!! From booking, to our driver on the way in, to the driver that picked us up at the end - all great people, very knowledgeable, and made for a smooth July 4th activity!!
The beautify of seeing this rarely seen side of the Pine Barrens was amazing, plus all the turtles!!!
I had a very fun time kayaking, it lasted about 5 hours and we were driven on the bus to the launch site and then picked up by the bus at the other end of the river and driven back to the main building. The workers are very friendly and actually enjoy doing their jobs, on both bus rides they were telling us about the history of the area and interesting facts and we played trivia. The river itself is very easy to navigate, as you’re going with the stream, so there’s no need to paddle forward, just to steer. There are some obstacles and a couple shallow spots where we had to wiggle our way out of it but nothing an average person can’t handle. The views were amazing during full foliage season and the weather was perfect but it is probably not as pleasant in January or July. Overall, this was a very high quality and a memorable experience, and I hope to come back and try one of their other rivers in the future.
