Speech Gains

My 3 year old son was speech delayed and Julie was absolutely wonderful with him! We saw so much improvement in his speech in just a few weeks.

We sought a speech therapist in the Newtown area for our 3yr old girl, who was having trouble getting her thoughts across to those around her. She was too advanced to qualify for Early Intervention but was shying away from conversations and social interactions to the point that we knew she had needs beyond our ability to meet. Ms Julie responded to our inquiry and was able to come out to our home without a wait and brought with her a fun and energetic personality that opened the door wide for our little girl to play and talk. Ms Julie was consistent and flexible enough to go with the flow of our family, engaging family members as well as our 3yr old. All of us looked forward to her visits and enjoyed our homework each week. We as parents finally had tools and understanding to encourage our girl. She gradually developed confidence and did not feel ashamed to correct her speech errors after being accepted and engaged well by Ms Julie. After completing about one year of work with Ms. Julie, our daughter is soaring! She has recently stepped up to the mic to recite verses in front of her entire church---- an amazing accomplishment from a child who once hid from conversations due to articulation errors. We are forever grateful for Ms. Julie and her charisma.

Julie was amazing! Our son had a significant stutter and after about a year with Julie he now speaks without any issues. She is so great with little kids! I can't say enough great things about her.
