The Senior Helper aids that come in to help Mom are all compassionate and caring. Mom would not be able to handle living in her apartment without the assistance provided by Senior Helps.
Senior Helpers is fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough. We had a sudden and complicated care situation for both of our parents at the same time - and they exceeded all expectations! They jumped through hoops to schedule last minute care during holidays. They listened, responded quickly and partnered with us to expertly handle the situation. All their caregivers were excellent and they gave us great peace-of-mind. Senior Helpers is best in class with their services. We feel very lucky to have found them.
I am sad to have to leave Senior Helpers at this time. I do hope to use them in the future again. My helpers name was Paula and she was wonderful. She cleaned for me and fixed my lunch every day. she is sweet and always wanted to do more and more for me. She even went to a doctors appointment with me as my ears even though she has a hearing problem. Everything is recorded on her phone so she could repeat things to me. I had no problem with the company and would give them a referral anytime.
The entire staff at Senior Helpers have been terrific. In short, they absolutely deliver on everything they promise. Unlike other agencies, there have been ZERO last minute changes to staff on the day of service, and there have been ZERO problems with following the care plan. We could not be happier with this service and its personnel from the very top on down !
After having a horrible experience with another agency I met with senior helpers and they felt they could assist with my mom’s care and respect her wishes to stay in her own home. This is exactly what they did. It took a little bit to find the right fit but once they did we found Liz and Darlene who came 6 days a week and assisted my mom with her daily care and and kept my dad company as well. They both become like family to us and we are going to miss them. Sadly my mom passed away however without senior helpers and these 2 wonderful ladies we would not have been able to keep her in her own home and give her the quality of life she deserved. I am extremely grateful for Kim and her constant communication to make this all possible Highly recommend. Ty Connie
