Dr. John Mak is truly a consummate professional. His affable nature and reassuring bedside manner offer the patient maximum attention. He is both academically and intellectually astute. It's obvious he keeps up with professional reading. Recently, Dr. Mak performed a guided aspiration of a cyst on my lower spine. The entire procedure was performed with skill and aptitude. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. John Mak.

I was referred here by my Orthopedic doctor for herniated discs in my lumbar spine that were preventing me from doing my daily activities without severe pain. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating when I made a new patient appointment and again at check out when I scheduled the epidural injections.
When I first met with Dr. Mak, what stood out to me about him was that he was very kind, very caring and genuinely concerned about my pain and how he could help me. That is a quality that not many doctors have anymore. Dr. Mak spent more than enough time with me in the room and completed a thorough exam of my lumbar spine. He reviewed my MRI with me and explained exactly where my problem areas were and recommended epidural injections that I finally had done in April. I have to say that am feeling SO much better since then and I am actually enjoying life now instead of suffering with the horrible back pain that kept me sidelined for years, thanks to Dr. Mak! I just scheduled my second round of epidural injections with him in September. If you are in pain, go see Dr. Mak, you will not be disappointed! His Physician Assistant, Hannah is equally as nice and very knowledgeable during follow up.

Doctor Mak gets 5 starz a great Doctor and very nice man..The office staff on the other hand are extremely rude keeps u on hold for way to long and they seem to me very disgruntled

I have degenerative disc disease, which has affected various parts of my spine. 18 months ago, he diagnosed me with severe cervical disc disease which required almost immediate surgery, with excellent outcome.
Dr, Mak also treats the facet joint disease of my lumbar sacral spine, which gives me long periods of relief.
Recently, I developed severe pain in my left neck and arm. The MRI showed further cervical degeneration. I have confidence that Dr. Mak will again bring me relief with his great skill.
