ProCare Rehabilitation Green Brook

ProCare Rehab in Green Brook definitely deserves five stars. Steve was an exceptional therapist whose program significantly improved my condition (Sacroiliitis) to the point of full recovery. Perhaps just as important, he also offered me proactive advice and guidance to help me avoid future issues and relapses. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to offer me extra assistance when I needed it. If you need PT, I strongly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Pro Care Rehab in Green Brook!! Stephen and his entire staff from the minute you walk through the door make you feel calm and welcome and such a comfortable environment.

I completed rehab on a torn rotator cuff (decided to try rehab instead of surgery) and Stephen was tremendous….. no surgery needed! Everyone was very professional and very quite clean environment…… unlike many that are crowded and overwhelming.

So, if you are looking for the BEST therapist and rehab definitely try PRO CARE REHAB IN GREENBROOK NJ!!! The whole staff is awesome!!😊

Very friendly staff and helpful; great team at the Green Brook location. Stephen is awesome, he listens, can accommodate schedules. Privately owned yet they take all insurances. I highly recommend to anyone.

TLDR: the individual PT’s were great, but the system they were operating within at ProCare resulted in only addressing my general pain but was not specific enough to correct the problems that caused my injury.

Highly recommended to address pain, but not recommended if you expect to fully address the root cause of the injury. More details below.

Full review: My personal experiences with Steve and Steph, across multiple rehab stints was a 5/5, however my experience with ProCare’s operations was mediocre (3/5).

More often than not, after the original assessment, majority of time there (whether green brook or bridgewater) was spent with aides who knew little about me/my injury/my goals and what activities I was trying to get back to, and would just check off items on a list as I progressed through treatment. When I have gone to other places I have spent significantly more time with the PT, and the aides seemed more experienced/educated, enabling them to do a better job addressing each individual patient’s questions when the therapist was with someone else.

Second, my treatment plan wasn’t tailored to my activity level/goals and seemed more focused on relieving pain during day to day activities, rather than restoring proper function to areas that caused my injury. As an adult who plays rotational sports (baseball, softball, golf) hip mobility/strengthening, psoas release, glute strengthening, and thoracic spine mobility should have been a part of my treatment to take stress away from my lumbar spine when swinging/throwing, but it wasn’t. After 6 weeks of PT I was able to walk fine, but back pain still occurred when I played those sports, therefore my problems were not fully addressed.

Now, a year later and after self educating I’ve finally learned a specific routine which avoids back pain completely, and includes addressing the target areas I listed above. However I don’t believe I should have had to learn/do this on my own.

Again, the PT’s were great, and for majority of patients ProCare would suffice, but for me it only partially did.

ProCare is the best! Steve has been my physical therapist for various different issues over the years. My most recent visit was to help with hip pain I have been having due to dance. With Steve’s constant encouragement and support, my hip is completely healed and I finally feel relief. He is kind to all of his patients and truly listens to them. The rest of the staff is just as wonderful and always friendly. ProCare has given me a safe and comfortable environment to heal 😊
