Red Tail Lodge

I was there for a private corporate event. Beautiful grounds and building. Great space inside and out and amazing staff!

Pictured is the calm after the chaos. Overall ski experience - 5 stars; the getting to the skiing park was sort of overwhelming. We parked in the additional parking from the lodge at the bottom of the hill. Love they have the bridge to get you on the other side safely. Inside the lodge, it was packed by noon. Checking in, there's little order. Just talk to someone in the orange jacket out front. Pretty much felt like a staff member talks to you if you seem lost. So that's how we got point to the rental of equipment. I did love that the staff helped you put on your snow boots. Walked to helmets, and staff said it's self-serve. Find your own locker got crazy. Getting poles to ski, there were limited options at that time. However, when we were on the slopes, it made it worthwhile. The cafe upstairs is convenient. The firepit was nice. The private section of Hawk seemed relaxing.

Want there for a hoilday party. The staff was very freindly and helpful. It was nice and clean. Would recommend having a holiday party there.

This is the base lodge where I ski at Mountain Creek. Nice rustic architecture with multiple places to eat and lounging areas with fireplaces. The main cafeteria has some truly good soups and chowders that can be had in a bread bowl. If you want pizza, go upstairs for the wood fired real deal served on a wooden peel. There is also a full bar upstairs. When it's open, there is also a fancy restaurant on the main level that has an interesting menu.
