It has been a great experience from start to finish with this building and management company! Julian and all the staff have been so friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience between signing the lease and moving in. So far, the best experience I’ve had ever renting an apartment!
I started my life at RiverTrace from Oct 2025, and I’m very satisfied with this great apartment.
This apartment is always clean and well organized.
And the leasing office representative, Chanelly is very kind and supportive. I was able to easily complete my application thanks to her and even after started to live here, she is always willing to support all residents.
I lived at Rivertrace for 18 months and was generally content, despite frequent elevator issues and faulty door locks. However, the serious issue began after I moved out: the leasing company has failed to return my deposit. They promised to send a check within one month of move-out, but it never arrived. After I followed up, they claimed it was sent—without providing a tracking number—and I later discovered they used an incorrect address. (Or they never sent it out) I’ve repeatedly provided my correct address and requested a trackable delivery or alternative payment methods like wire transfer or Zelle, yet I’ve received no response for weeks, even after an out-of-office reply from the contact person. This lack of accountability is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the leasing company’s practices. I strongly urge potential renters to reconsider until Rivertrace resolves such issues. I will update this review based on their response.

After I left this review, they re-sent the check and it finally arrived after a month. I’m grateful for the Rivertrace team’s responsive communication and dedication in following up on this issue over the past month—their support has been commendable. However, the address on the envelope was incorrect again (missing the country name "Japan," which is required for international mail, and with a misspelling), and it’s surprising the U.S. Postal Service and Japan Post managed to deliver it with such partial information. This is the second address error, pointing to a clear issue in the operational process despite the team’s efforts. I must warn potential future residents—especially those from foreign countries—to be cautious about the security deposit refund process. The matter is resolved now that the check has been successfully deposited, but it was purely luck thanks to the exceptional efforts of the U.S. and Japanese postal services, not due to the process itself.
Moving in was super easily! Already love the place! Julian made everything as easy as possible, met with me on my move in day and showed me around and answered all my prior questions before moving in. He’s the man! Highly recommend
