Rossi Paint Stores -Orange

I just popped in here today after I called around to a lot of stores, including other Rossi locations.

In addition to this location having exactly what I needed, the staff was all so knowledgable and kind with all my questions about Meoded Concretta FS. I was in and out of the store so quickly.

This is one of my favorite stores. Maribel and Steve are truly the best! Whether you call or text in an order, they’re on it right away. I’m incredibly grateful for their support—when you’re juggling multiple jobs at once, it makes a big difference to have reliable people like them on your side. They make ordering materials quick and hassle-free.

I wish I could say that my very short experience there was a good one.
On google maps, as of today 02/08/2021, their store hours are posted as closing at 5:30pm. I ran in at 5:17pm just to grab a couple of paint swatches that I already knew the paint name and number that I was interested in. I rushed in and asked the young woman at the front where the swatches were. She told me where to look. As it was less than 15 minutes before closing, I apologized for running in just before closing, and that I would be very quick. She said they closed at 5pm. I informed her that google maps said 5:30.
While I was selecting the swatch, I overheard a man who was either the owner or the manager ask the young woman, “Who let her in?” (The door was not locked) The man then approached me, and I again apologized for coming in so close to closing. He said we close at 5:00. I informed him of the online post of 5:30pm, and he snarly said, “There’s a sign on the door. I explained that I was rushing in, and didn’t see any sign. He added, with continued snarl, “That’s not what it said on my website.” All in all, my 5 minute experience was not good. I almost didn’t post this, but after reading another review regarding a disregard for correct closing hours, I am posting so that no one else would bother to endure this lack of good customer service.
I will not be purchasing paint for my new home from this store...they lost a whole, 8100 square foot house interior paint sale.
To the owner I say, you need to improve on your customer service practices, and update all online information.
To prospective customers I say, go to Red Star Paint in Montclair...the owners there have EXCELLENT customer service and offer assistance AND excellent referrals.
