Saddle River Cafe

My girlfriends and I came here for lunch and we were honestly obsessed from the second we walked in. Saddle River Café has that clean, modern, calming vibe.

The service was so friendly and attentive without hovering. Our server gave great recommendations and checked in just the right amount.

The food was the highlight — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. We tried a few different dishes and shared everything, and there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t love. The portions were perfect: filling without being heavy, and you can tell they use really good ingredients.

The coffee + drinks were also amazing. It’s one of those spots where you can sit, talk, and catch up for a while without feeling rushed.

The outdoor dining is all decked out for the holidays also!!

Just came here for the first time for breakfast. Atmosphere outside is beautiful. Service is outstanding as well. And to top it off, the food is even better. One of the better breakfast meals I have ever had. A great local hidden gem. Very fresh and flavorful. Perfect pear juice is to die for. Banana pancakes are delicious and the Saddle River breakfast sampler is so amazing. My only complaint, actually suggestion - the potatoes came with sauce on it and the menu did not say that. Other than that, will definitely keep coming back and spreading the word of this amazing restaurant. I will try dinner next here.

From the stunning dining room and outdoor patio to the thoughtful, flavor-packed menu, everything at Saddle River Café is done just right. The standout dishes? The garlic bread served with a butter candle (yes, a literal butter candle!) and the truffle burger—both absolutely blew me away!

The creative mocktails are perfectly balanced and thoughtfully crafted, whether you’re enjoying them on their own or with your meal. Every detail here feels intentional and elevated.

Huge shoutout to Chef Jamie Knott and the entire team—they’re warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent food and exceptional service. We have dined here numerous times during weekdays and weekends, the food and service has been very consistent - consistently great. We have brought many people here and the feedback is the same - this restaurant exceeded their expectations. Thank you to Yulia (Manager) and Grace (Kitchen lead) for always going above and beyond to deliver the customer experience we all expect - service with a smile, never any attitudes, and tirelessly working to meet your expectations whether the place is fully packed or not. Great little cafe for a great meal. BYOB, so remember to bring your wine of choice. Enjoyed the crispy artichokes which were coated in a light batter with mustard cream sauce. The miso salmon was amazing! savory yet sweet with black wild rice cook to perfection and delicately placed asparagus l. The meatballs & spaghetti were delicious! Great service from Ashley! Next visit I will make sure to leave room for the bread pudding dessert!
