The restoration of the carousel was excellent. It is now in it's own year round building near the boardwalk. I have loved this carousel for many years. A traditional for me when I go down the shore.
My wife and I have been eagerly waiting for this since we first saw the empty building two years ago. Tonight was our first visit since then and we were delighted. Two tickets later and we'd both shed 50 years for a few wonderful minutes. If we had any complaints it would be that there are little to no explanatory signs on the exhibits surrounding the carousel.
Riding the carousel is a must when visiting Seaside. Fair price too!!!

I rode that carousel as a tiny child. This is why Jersey nevertheless is Stronger Than A Storm. Love love love that place.
