Shiry is a truly wonderful lactation specialist and an incredible person to work with. I am currently working with her to improve my breastfeeding journey, and her calm, supportive, and encouraging approach has made all the difference. She is both highly knowledgeable and skilled, and her guidance has given me the confidence I needed. My baby is 6 weeks old, and thanks to Shiry, I now feel so much more assured in my ability to breastfeed. I am deeply grateful for her support.

Shiry was a godsend during my breastfeeding journey. My son was born with a tongue tie, which was very overwhelming as a FTM. I felt pressured to meet with pediatric dentists and other specialists when he was only four days old. I made an appointment with Shiry on a recommendation for a good friend. She was able to help me, focusing on one thing at a time and never pressured me into anything. I felt a lot more confident in my son’s ability to transfer after working with her. When I had some complications and wanted to wean, she helped me with that no questions asked. It was extremely refreshing to work with a lactation consultant that was not only knowledgeable, but also nonjudgmental and supportive of my goals. With Shiry’s help I was able to breastfeed my son for nearly 6 months.

Highly recommended (and I recommend seeing Shiry as early as possible in your breastfeeding journey) - a true subject matter expert who can help address all your questions and concerns right from the start. Shiry takes a very practical approach to ensure her suggestions work for you and your wider family (eg if you're juggling other children), and provides reassurance and support. Very convenient that Shiry can visit you at home so you can stay in bed!

I am so happy that I found such a wonderful and professional lactation consultant in Shiry! Her calm and nonjudgmental demeanor helped calm my new mom nerves and overcome my son’s early breastfeeding challenges. She offers in home visits, which was so important to me during those fragile newborn days. During our initial visit she took the time to truly understand my breastfeeding goals and the challenges that we were experiencing, offering several options that could help. Her patience and expertise was so reassuring. She offered advice for pumping as well, and even hopped on the phone to walk me through what to do when I had a clogged duct. I think that if it wasn’t for Shiry I might have become frustrated and prematurely ended my breastfeeding or started exclusively pumping. Shiry helped give me the confidence that I could do this, and because of that we did achieve exclusive breastfeeding and going strong! I am so grateful and would personally recommend her to anyone looking for excellent BF support!

Shiry was amazing and I would highly recommend! She helped me through quite the tough time with breastfeeding after my baby girl was born. My milk took some time to come in and my little one didn’t have a great latch. Shiry helped us considerably and came back as often as we needed her to. She was very patient and understanding with me and very gentle with the baby. I happy to report that 6 months later, baby girl and I are still going strong with breastfeeding! I wouldn’t have gotten this far without Shiry’s help!
