Dr. Boulos is a very caring doctor. My experience with him about the service he provides to my dogs Lukie and Loki is commendable. I will recommend his caring service to anyone. He is the best VETINARIAN Doctor in the town. Thank you to the team.
I have been taking my three dogs, now two for a long time. His prices are reasonable and he is very nice and truly cares. I would not take my babies, now seniors to anyone else. Everyone in the office is very nice and caring.
My cat was over grooming and itching. I went here with this problem. Was prescribed anti-allergic medication. When I reported it didn't work, they questioned if I gave that medication correctly and told me to give it longer. When it surely didn't work they prescribed another medication. The reception person also tried to convince me that grooming is normal and I am probably exaggerating. I also brought my cat here for the teeth care that was apparently done ok. But 1-2 weeks after, I discovered a major flea infestation of my cat (she is strictly indoors). I don't know if she got fleas at this vet clinic or had them before. I am disappointed, because I brought my cat to this clinic two times, the second time the vet could observe her for some time while doing the dental work and didn't notice the fleas. The vet also didn't ask me when I treated my cat for fleas last time and didn't recommend treating her for fleas before trying anti-allergic medication. My cat is doing much better after I applied a topical flea treatment, and hopefully that was the reason for excessive grooming. Next time I will go to a different vet.
My boyfriend has been going to Dr. B with his animals for about 29 years and today I could see why! We had an emergency happen to our little Coco when she was attacked by our neighbors dog. Her ear was mangled, her chest had a deep puncture wound end she also had a nip on her nose. I was terrified by all the blood and suffering my girl was going through. I’m not from around here and really didn’t know where to turn for her care. Thank god for South River Vet Clinic and their wonderful staff. Obviously we didn’t see this coming, so we didn’t have an appointment. We had to wait until their scheduled appointments were done but it was well worth it! (Let me add that if I didn’t feel that Coco could wait, I would have taken her for emergency care immediately, but I had her ear compressed the entire time and she was curled up on my lap- not in distress but I digress ) Coco ended up needing surgery on her ear to remove cartilage and was administered multiple antibiotics to prevent infection. I know they close at 9, but Dr. B and Andreia didn’t make us feel like we were a burden to them when they took her into surgery at 9:30 and probably didn’t make it to their homes until 11. Dr. B treated her with the utmost care and Andreia provided me with wonderful and detailed aftercare instruction.
From the bottom of bill and my heart, we thank you so very much. Coco may be a little mad about the cone of shame, but she’ll live and that’s what matters. We still have a lot to do to make sure that her recovery is a successful one, but I just know that she’ll be our happy and loving girl as soon as she recovers. Thank you for everything you did for her and for us ❤️
