I have a challenging dog that is uncomfortable with strangers. Dr. Toolen and the vet techs' calm approach, along with their action plan and understanding of what is needed to complete the required tasks, really made what could have been a difficult appointment a complete success. They didn’t rush anything. They allowed my dog all the time we needed. They are lifesavers, providing us with a resource to help me care for my pooch. Thanks!!

I went to Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital through a program. The program is called The New Jersey Rabbit Society. In this program, you can get your pet rabbits neutered or spayed in an “affordable” price. I do want to note that it can get a bit pricey as added fees get included before AND after the visit. This includes the pet rabbit’s medication. Also, if it gets too busy. You might deal with a sassy receptionist…. That being said, thank you for treating my pet rabbit Jack with care. He’s a bit anxious from the visit, but doing fine. He really prefers to be at home. 3/5 stars, but 4 stars since it’s not an option :)

We brought our Holland Lop here for his neuter and had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. We arrived at 8:30 for our 8:45 appointment and were promptly checked in. After a short wait, we were seen for a well visit, where the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain our rabbit’s health and the upcoming procedure.

We left after the visit and received a call once the surgery was complete. Pick-up was at 1:30, and the staff member who checked us out also went over all the discharge instructions in detail.

One tip: if you're planning a neuter, I recommend getting a certificate through the NJ House Rabbit Society—it helped us save money on the procedure.

Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this clinic to other rabbit owners.

Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital was by far the best vet experience I have had with my baby boy. I noticed he was urinating outside of his litter box with blood in his urine. I called them up and they were able to get me in same day. Dr. Birmingham was so kind and took her time explaining what was occurring. He was given medication and an ultrasound was done to see what was going on. The doctor and vet tech were so gentle with him and took the time to explain the ultrasound image and what was wrong with him. He was given a prescription diet to help dissolve the stones in his bladder and he recovered just in time to celebrate his 3rd birthday! During his follow up appointment Dr. Birmingham showed me the before and after images of his ultrasound and explained the improvement which was a huge relief. I would definitely return to the clinic with Dr. Birmingham specifically should my boy need future vet care.
