I don't usually give bad reviews but I feel like I have to do other women don't have to go through what I went through .I had a baby here a few years ago, literally everything that could have went wrong went wrong and my Dr who promised me she would be there for me and would make sure nothing bad happens wasn't there for any part of the labor and delivery after I had had shared my deep fears and anxieties of giving birth at St Joseph's hospital..I saw her on the last day an hour before I was discharged..I literally had to lie and say I felt like pushing to get an emergency c section because I knew something was wrong and nobody took me seriously. I ended up fainting every 5 minutes after being in labor for 3 days, again nobody cared or listened to my concerns..I knew I was getting symptoms of sepsis, I was told everything was normal and when I finally lied to get my baby out both my baby and I were running a high fever and my baby was rushed away before I could even touch her and after having a major abdominal surgery I was in so much pain, I was given a Tylenol which didn't do anything for the pain at all because it's not meant for major surgery pain..I never wanted to go back there again until recently I found out I had a large cyst on my ovary, I was told to go back there because they deal with high risk patients..against my better instincts I went back...I was reminded of how this place treats women like cattle, you're literally given a number because that's all they see u as..long story short I meet this new Dr and within second he casually tells me my entire ovary has to come out because it's easier just to take the whole thing out..I told him about my concerns of preserving my ovary because I was currently trying to conceive and he smirked at me like even asking that question was a joke to him..I felt like my concerns were brushed off and I was supposed to just accept that this functional cyst is gunna cost me my entire ovary because it's easier for him just to take it all out instead of trying to preserve the ovary..mind you the cyst is not interfering with my periods or getting pregnant it's not torsioned either so y would the entire ovary have to come out ? I think he took 1 look at my health history, saw I'm a recovering addict and assumed the world would be better off if I was sterilized anyway and if it's easier for him then even better...this is not uncommon unfortunately for ppl like me..doesn't matter how many years ago I recovered I will always be viewed as a junkie n b treated like my health doesn't matter.

Dr. Siddiqui has been two of three of my children’s pediatrician for years. She is the best! I always trust that my children are in great hands. Thank you!
