Ingrid, the farm owner, gave us a free tour and lesson on alpacas in exchange for supporting her quaint gift shop!
They’ve downsized from 25 to 3 alpacas but still a great experience. No petting as it stresses the alpacas out. Best time to visit is during the colder temps.
Picked up a 100% alpaca fiber scarf.
The boys are so cute, so are the alpaca products in the store. The owner is very nice. Will definitely go back and visit next time..
Loved the little store. Purchase 2 skeins yarn that came from an Alpaca named Johnny. So soft I can't wait to knit with it. Ingrid was amazing. Couldn't get up close to the Alpacas because it was too muddy. But, 3 did come out and greet the kids from a distance. Definitely with be going back the next time I'm in the area.
We had a great time at Stormwind Farm today. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend it. They don't take Discover card though, so have your Visa, Mastercard or cash ready, you're going to need it when you see their store!
