This is the old home of Charles Lindbergh and his wife Anne (Morrow) where they lived in the early 1930's (to escape the crazy publicity following his transatlantic flight). And where his son was kidnapped from (before his murder), leading to another wave of awful publicity.
The place was turned into kind of a half-way house for young men, "wards of the state" and it's not much to look at now. You can ride up to the driveway and you will get suspicious stares.
Note that while the mailing address is "Hopewell, NJ," which is in Mercer County, the physical/political location is in Amwell, which is part of Hunterdon County. That's why all the news filings re. the kidnapping trial of Richard Hauptmann were from Flemington, NJ (Hunterdon's County Seat).
