Sashi was such a delight. Very pleasant from the moment you walk into the deli. The deli itself is very clean and has lots to offer. I ordered a few hot sandwiches for breakfast and they were AMAZING. The quality, taste, and size of the sandwiches were top tier. Coming from someone who’s very particular about where I eat, I would highly recommend it! Check it out, you’ll thank me later.
Best convenience store on rt 9 in Barnegat. Family owned! Best deli sandwiches and they even sell a huge variety of redbull (my favorite) I go there everyday and you should give it a try❤️🔥

I don’t even leave reviews often, but this deserves one. The breakfast bowl I got here was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I think his name was Sanji (or Sashi), but whoever made it absolutely crushed it — turkey bacon, egg, pork roll, and cheese all layered perfectly. Flavor was on another level, fresh, and cooked with real care.
It wasn’t just a meal, it was one of those “I need to take a picture before I eat this” moments. I’m already telling people about it, and honestly this place should be viral for how good it is. If you’re nearby and don’t stop in, you’re missing out.

We stopped in originally just to grab a water and an energy drink, but after chatting with the owner, we decided to try some sandwiches, and we’re so glad we did. They were phenomenal! Some of the best we’ve ever had. The bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast is a must-try, and the deli subs are equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and made to perfection.
But what really made the visit special was the owner. He was incredibly friendly, made us feel right at home, and went out of his way to take care of us. Every request we had was handled with care, and you could tell he genuinely values his customers. It turned what could’ve been a quick stop into one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.
We’ll absolutely be coming back, and we’re already recommending this place to friends and family. A true hidden gem.
