Frank is a good teacher with a kind heart and a quirky sense of humor. I like that he places especial focus on breathing during the lessons.
Frank is an amazing yoga instructor. He provides detailed instructions before and during each asana to maximize the benefit and more importantly, to prevent injury. My hips and back are much stronger, especially my hips. I now have Happy Hips!
If someone wants to properly learn yoga poses, then I would suggest that you should be in Frank's class. First his instructions are very detailed and clear and he always demonstrates what he wants you to do. Then he comes and corrects your poses and gently guides you to the right pose. I have always felt that there are very few who take so much interest in their students.
If you are a beginner than Frank should be the first teacher to learn from. If you are an intermediate Frank should be the teacher to ascertain if you have actually understood the pose.
If you are advanced then maybe you can look beyond but I would still believe you would enjoy Frank's humor in the class.
I have never been flexible and the tightness in my leg muscles is more pronounced as I get older. Frank Riccio is an excellent yoga instructor. Frank has patience and a wealth of knowledge. With his guidance, my body has responded quite well. A big thank you to Frank and Tall Pine Yoga.
Frank's classes offer the participant the opportunity to master a variety of yoga poses in a warm and supportive environment. I especially like that he pays close attention to proper alignment and form, so important as you build strength and increase flexibility. Highly recommend his classes
