The Claremont Tavern

We are locals and we couldn't want for a better local watering hole/eatery.
Food is consistently good, not a bad thing on the menu. We had fish tacos and beer battered shrimp...delish !
I decided to indulge in a dirty martini this past Wednesday evening...it was the size of a small hot tub !
The habituées are always interesting and fun to talk to.

We had a lovely lunch at the Claremont Tavern. We were lucky to get there just before the lunch rush - they fill up quickly! We went on Sunday during their brunch hours. We had the Angus breakfast sliders, the Steak and arugula panini, and the yucca fries. Everything was delicious! Very filling, ended up taking a lot of the fries home. Price was fair, service was good.

Be aware that the food takes a little bit of time to get out of the kitchen because they were very busy but it was 1,000% worth the wait. We got 2 of their side dishes as apps, the flank steak salad, and a buffalo, chicken, bacon, pizza. All were delicious. The salad was one of most unique salad combinations I have ever had. I highly recommend.

We sat outside on the front patio because we had our pup with us but the dining room looked so inviting.

This is one of our favorite places everything on the menu is delicious. Owners are so nice they make you feel right at home. My new favorite is the crab cake special! So Amazing!!!!! Turkey burgers are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Salads are huge and leave you with leftovers. Try the salmon on a salad you won’t be disappointed. My husband loves the burgers and wings. But we actually have never had anything we didn’t like. Great staff! Love this place!!!
