The Lantern

If you are looking for a great old school american hot dog, burger, or a variety of sandwiches/wraps this an absolute gem. Prices are incredibly reasonable and you really get a lot of bang for the buck. My kids love coming here especially for the ice cream bar. Also having a drive thru is a major plus! The establishment is family run. The owners are the absolute nicest people. A few times my sons were offered free ice cream by the father of the family as a kind gesture. My family frequently comes here and every single time we seriously enjoy ourselves. The inside decor gives off a great old americana grill. There is plenty of booth seating and tables/chairs were recently renovated. Skip the usual fast food chain suspects and stop overpaying for sub par food. This place will not disappoint you!

Hamburger deluxe with onion rings extra. Burger was good. Onion rings good. Expensive- 15.00 for this meal n a drink.

What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!

forgot my cheese on my fries. No napkins. No forks. Also called my friend the hard r. Horrible service. Not cool :(

Not necessarily gourmet cuisine but really good for what it is! They have plenty of vegetarian options which I really appreciated. Would recommend getting fries with cheese sauce!
