The Ocean View - Restaurant

Was a overall experience 8/10. Me and my boyfriend traveled almost two hours down to get here. First we started off with the coconut mojitos was 100/100 absolutely amazing and they were strong but not too much that coconut real brings it together. We started off with the crab cake tots. They were 7/10 for taste but the crab cake was served kinda of cold but the tots were hot. My boyfriend proceeded to get the brisket Mac and cheese. Very disappointed I can’t even express how bad it was. The pasta was extremely undercooked and I mean it was chewy like it was sticking to our teeth. The brisket was also disappointing no flavor and came off rough. And for some reason the white cheese was mainly at the bottom?? Our waiter Patrick apologized after we told him and he took it off our bill and offered something else to try. We declined but we appreciate his kindness and service. We then go onto our entrees my boyfriend had the ribeye sandwich which he rates it a 8/10 very tender for a ribeye he says it melts in your mouth. Following with the sweet potato fries they were a 10/10!! I had gotten the lobster roll (my first one) and it exceeded my expectations! I would give it a 8/10 the only thing is it was smaller than expected but they give alot of lobster meat which I put some of my side Caesar salad which was amazing 10/10 across the board the sauce was different from any of the ones I’ve had before. I also had gotten some onion rings extra crispy. They were good a solid 9/10 can’t mess up onion rings am I right?! Overall a good experience I would say we would travel again for the entrees but the appetizers is a hard pass for us. Also recommend asking for Patrick he gave us bar recommendations and was honest about the menu with his favorites and not so favorites. We thank him again for his hospitality towards us!! Also forgot the live music was great played all the classics even though I’m a young soul LOL :))

Everything was very tasty and being on the beach is awesome.
To be super picky the wait for the food was kinda long but def worth for us: we got the seared tuna, lobster mac and cheese, seafood cocktail, and ribeye sandwich.
I'd recommend the seafood cocktail!

My parents and I stopped in for lunch. When we arrived we found parking not too far. We walked into a cute restaurant right on the beach. Colleen was our server and she was great! We ordered:

My favorite was the shrimp and scallop Bruschetta! I also liked the mac and cheese dish! All in all it was a great experience listening to the band and looking at the water!

It was a dreary cold Wednesday evening as I entered into seaside, NJ. As soon as I arrived at the Ocean view I was greeted by the friendly hostess and brought to my seat outside. right away my server, Julia came over not only super friendly but a warm welcoming smile, and very attentive we started with two cups of coffee and the non-alcoholic mermaid cooler both of which were fresh and helped with the colder day we had. Next we ordered the ribeye steak sandwich, the Jammin burger, and the ceaser salad topped with salmon. My ribeye sandwich did not come out initially with the horseradish sauce but my server quickly grabbed me a fresh cup, which was SO delicious with my sandwich, of which had the perfect combination of juicy fatty pieces and perfectly seared steak. The Manager Ron, who we stopped to ask about there private venues and compliment our service, was very knowledgeable and even offered us a tour of the private venue areas. We look forward to working with him in the future for my great grandmas 100 year birthday. Overall, the Ocean View In Seaside is a welcoming, gorgeous, and a worth visiting stop on the Jersey shore. We had a wonderful early dinner outside. Atmosphere was great with live music and beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Service was very good and so was the food!! My favorite was the crab cake over tater tots and the burrata, peach arugula salad.
