The Stirling Hotel

Love this place. Has a very warm and inviting feel especially around the holidays! Had pretzel sticks for an app, delicious. Beer selection is wonderful. Dinner was a Turkey Burger w/ fries and the tavern burger they offered. Everything was great. Service was on point. Justin, terrible name, but great server. Beer I ordered kicked so I got a free half a beer! Pretty sweet deal.

The Stirling Hotel in Stirling, NJ is a hidden gem thats perfect for families and of course the wilder after dark crowd. The bar itself is rugged with a down-and-dirty charm, with plenty of signature cocktails. They have a spacious, tent-covered patio out back for family dining. And the place to be on a nice day around Long Hill is their beer garden. Their beer list is surprisingly deep, offering everything from generic macro lagers to dozens of craft sours, stouts, and seasonals — easily one of the most diverse selections in the area. The Nashville Hot sandwich was phenomenal — crispy, spicy, and addictive. Whether you’re here for a laid-back drink or a full meal, this spot never disappoints.

I am originally from Costa Rica and I got lots of memories of a place I used to go to get my burgers in my hometown it was called "Los tallereres" their burgers were juicy and literally melted in my mouth. The closest thing I found here in the USA is Five guys, we'll until today. The Stirling Hotel has the best burgers I have tried in 21 years. Believe it or not I felt like that food reviewer from Ratatouille, I wente directly back on time when I was a teenager. It was phenomenal.

Besides this wonderful experience I tried a pumpkin cider beer from a New Jersey brewery. That was out of this world 🌎.

Our waitress was also fantastic.

This won't be the first time I go there that is a promise.

Let’s just say the food tastes way better than it looks. I was not impressed as it was not seasoned at all. To be fair i didn’t try the nachos. But the brisket and mac n cheese was horrendous for my liking. The cheese itz on the Mac n cheese was an idea that I’d really like to know who came up with it. Bad idea. But the atmosphere was great! Maybe I’ll just get wings next time.

We had a terrific Sunday afternoon recently at the Stirling Hotel. This Old Engine was tons of fun, celebrating “10 Years of Dancing in the Beer Garden”. The craft beer selection is outstanding. The atmosphere is 2nd to none. There’s a large variety of tasty options on the menu & the service is terrific…they really hustle. I’ve been coming here for about 10 years, year-round, and I’ve never been disappointed. Very customer service oriented!
