Umi Hotpot & Seafood Buffet

this buffet is really great.A friend recommended it to me and said the lunch here is well worth it.there’s everything-hot pot,noodles,sushi,seafood,you name it. The environment is also nice. After a stroll on the street,having a meal here makes your whole day feel cheerful!

When traveling to New Jersey, I passed by this Freehold Umi. It has my daughter's favorite sushi and ramen, as well as my favorite hot pot. There are many varieties and the prices are quite reasonable. The experience was great and I will definitely come again next time.

Great seafood selections. They have more varieties, better quality and very fresh compared to other buffets. I love that they have hot pots, Boba tea, sauce station and exotic choices (chicken feet, salmon head, baby octopus etc.). I just don't like the imposed 12% gratuity tax in the bill. Over-all, the place is clean, the food tastes great but could use a bit more seasoning and the there's ample parking.

What a pleasant surprise… A suggestion was made to me and I must truly thank this person. The array of foods from the exotic to simple all American every thing was hot and tasty. I was afraid I wouldn’t find anything to eat, but boy- was I wrong. Hubby and I had the all you can eat lobster special at $49.95 per person. I ate one tail, but hubby finished everything else plus more. Beverages are included which allowed me to have my favorite passion fruit tea. There are different prices for lunch and other times of the day… Can hardly wait to go back again and again!!!

Umi just opened this location close to us only this past year and decided to try it out for Father’s Day. Overall, it was very good with a lot to pick from, great boba, and a nice interior. I would definitely say that it is above your average Asian buffet place and I loved their coconut shrimp! The only critique I had was their labeling on the sushi because I had no idea what was what. Would recommend!
