We enjoyed our visit to Valenzano Winery . It was our first time and we really loved the atmosphere of the bar and dining area. Very cozy and friendly. We like to buy cases of wine and we bought a combination of fruit wines and some white and red wines. I’ll have to say that we tried the raspberry tonight and it was amazing! It was as good as I’ve ever had in any other establishment. We also had lunch there Starting with the soup, which was a chowder of clams and some vegetables and bacon. It was delicious! We then sampled the two choices of sliders. They came with an ample amount of fries, which were very, very good. We enjoyed the sliders, although I felt that mine , the chicken, could’ve had just a little bit more seasoning. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much and we would go back. We would like to try some of the other choices that were offered on the menu such as the flatbreads. We also found that although they don’t have tastings, they do allow you to taste anything you might be interested in buying at the bar. Thank you, and we will be back!

Saturday October 4, 2025 was our first time visiting Valenzano Winery in Shamong, NJ! Our host was Gabby! Gabby‘s presentation was phenomenal, her cheery, bubbly personality made it fun, her willingness to go above and beyond, taking her time to explain each of the wines was top notch! Everyone from the staff was really nice but ask for Gabby!
    Gabby! Gabby! Gabby! Gabby!

The ambiance is incredible. I would reccomend sitting outside if you get the chance and the weather is nice. Staff is incredibly attentive and personable. Food is amazing. Would recommend the shrimp po boy and cheesesteak eggs rolls. I had the farm favorite flight and would reccomend it. The waitress Gabby was incredibly sweet , kind , and made great reccomendations. I cannot wait to come back.Happy i celebrated my.birthday here.

The biggest thing is the service was poor. I felt extremely uncomfortable there. Went on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks. The place was almost empty. We were a party of two including myself, we were seated at a table in the back room by the window. There was only one other table of two people there. The host gave us water but besides that no one came. 20 minutes past and a couple was seated to the table somewhat near us. They were helped a few minutes later, and still no one came to my table. We kept looking around making it obvious we haven't been helped but no one came. I couldn't help but notice I was the only person of color in the place. My friend and I moved ourselves to the bar and spent the evening there. There I think the women's name is Kathleen? She was lovely. She chatted with us gave us recommendations and made it a nice time. But I still couldn't shake my uncomfortable feeling.
The wine is ok I think most of them would taste better if they aged for some time. Seems very right from the vine. The food was yummy, especially the sweet toast Batch 3 - apples figs and goat cheese I think it was. Very fall flavors and sweet it was good I'd have it again.
The place is pretty but definitely looks and I'm sure functions more as a venue. Even the entrance doesn't look inviting. If I go back it would probably be for a nice dinner and that's all. Or a glass of wine and sit outside where I can't feel the discomfort of color. IF I go back.

Charming Experience at Valenzano Winery – Shamong, NJ

We had a wonderful experience at Valenzano Winery! The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the wine — absolutely excellent. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy the moment.

They also offer delicious food options that pair perfectly with their wines, making the experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re a fan of white wine, I highly recommend trying their Riesling — crisp and refreshing. But our favorite of the day was definitely the Merlot — smooth, rich, and full of character.

Valenzano Winery is now one of our go-to spots, and we’re already looking forward to coming back soon!
