Veriella's Bakery & Cafe

was looking for a place that did custom cakes so I could order a ‘pizza’ cake for my daughter’s first birthday. I found Veriella’s and sent them a few photos of what I wanted and they gave me quotes that were significantly cheaper than other similar bakeries in the area. For a 25-person cake, they said the lead time would be about two weeks. They have several cake flavors/fillings to choose from (some cost extra) and we went with a lemon cake with blueberry filling. It was such a good combination – everybody loved it and the cake came out on point to the picture I sent them. Communication was easy (via email). We actually ended up going into the bakery the day before pick-up because we decided to do some last-minute party favors with some Italian cookies. We got a bunch of rainbow cookies, sprinkle cookies, and a raspberry filled one. Unfortunately, these missed the mark. They tasted old and I’m pretty sure they order them from elsewhere because of the cardboard trays/plastic wrap they were wrapped in. I wouldn’t come back for these but the next time I need another custom cake, I would definitely order from them again.

Lucia and her husband never fail to deliver an outstanding product! Came in last minute to order 36 customized engagement cookies. Picked them up and here’s what they made and here’s how I wrapped them.

With a weeks notice Veriellas made my cake inspo picture come to life and it was better than my vision! Danny answered all my questions and Lucia created a masterpiece for my little girl! It was Dino-mite! Looking forward to nexts years design! Thank you!

Walked into this place because I was picking up something in the area. Who doesn't love a good Italian snack 😋
I didn't know that I was walking into a place that would have me feeling like I was making the career change. Had an amazing conversation with Danny, the owner, about his tough times as an owner, and his advice and conversation were just absolutely amazing. I didn't know I'd be getting a snack and free therapy lesson, lol

We stopped by for a quick coffee. Their iced latte was amazing. They make their ice cubes out of coffee, so when they melt your coffee does not get watered down. They also had a lot of options in terms of pastries. The rainbow cookies were great and my daughter enjoyed them. The service was quick and friendly. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.
