Dr. William J. Derkasch and his entire team in Kenilworth, NJ, are truly in a league of their own. I was a loyal patient for several years, and every visit reaffirmed that I was receiving the best dental care possible. From the moment I walked in, I was always greeted warmly by the front desk staff, and the entire office consistently maintained a clean, professional, and welcoming environment.

Dr. Derkasch is not only an incredibly skilled dentist, but he also has a calm, compassionate bedside manner that immediately puts patients at ease. As someone who is deeply invested in my oral health and admittedly a bit obsessive when it comes to dental hygiene, I always felt understood and respected here. I’m the kind of patient who doesn’t just go for the standard twice-a-year cleaning—I actually chose to go four times a year, even paying out of pocket for the extra cleanings. That’s how much I trusted and valued the care I received from this team.

Each cleaning was thorough, never rushed, and always done with attention to detail. Dr. Derkasch and his hygienists took the time to explain what they were seeing, review X-rays with me, and answer any questions I had. I always left the office feeling confident, informed, and well cared for.

Sadly, due to a change in my insurance, I had to switch providers. It’s been difficult finding another office that holds a candle to the level of service, professionalism, and patient care I was used to with Dr. Derkasch. I genuinely miss the experience—from the helpful, friendly staff to the peace of mind that comes with knowing your dental health is in expert hands.

If you’re looking for a dentist who truly goes above and beyond, who listens, educates, and treats you like more than just another appointment on the calendar, I can’t recommend Dr. Derkasch enough. I would return in a heartbeat if my insurance allowed it. This office sets the standard for what dental care should be.

Been going to Dr. Derkasch for about 5 years and I love everything about his practice. The group there are especially friendly and accommodating. They’re always on point with scheduling and explaining what going on with your teeth! Bedside manner is the best I’ve experienced and I’ve never been more comfortable with a dentist before. Great experience with everyone in the office. Dr. Derkasch mapped out a plan for what was needed for me and even made sure I was aware of all the steps involved during the procedures. Everyone here is awesome and accommodating. I can actually say that I enjoy going to the dentist now!
