Great Sandwich!
a little pricey but You get what you paid for.
A friend recommended the pizza at Woodglen General Store and she was right, it’s excellent. The crust is thin with just a touch of sweetness which I’m told comes from local honey. Very fresh ingredients. I’m a new fan. The store was so clean and organized. It had yummy pastries and a gelato bar, yup in the middle of Glen Gardner, who knew. Highly recommend. Coffee is sourced from Upper Black Eddy, keeping it local, I like that.
Oh my goodness - had stopped in before for a Coca Cola and a cookie but today my husband picked us up some sandwiches for lunch. A BLT and a pesto one with mozzarella and cold meats. Absolutely outstanding!!!!!! So delicious! Made my day!
Need to get back soon to try the gelato too!
Great location to pop into after taking kiddos to the playground nearby!
Nothing bad to say about the Woodglen. Great Egg Sandwiches and Value Home Fries ($3.00). My favorite lunch option definitely has to be the Specialty Steak Sandwich (Cheesesteak.)
Great little old school general store..how can't you give this place 5 stars? They promote the Woodglen sandwich as their signature item. It was good for where this store is located, not the best you will have in NJ, but very good. The people are nice, place is amazing, definitely would stop again when cutting through the county. They have something for everyone.
