What a beautiful property and amazing host! The room and entire home was so clean and charming. The bed was comfortable and our stay was very relaxing. There were peaceful sounds of the river and birds chirping in the morning. I loved the farmhouse vibe and really enjoyed “getting away from it all.” Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful escape on acres of beautiful views!
My family (my husband, 8 year old son, and I) spent the weekend at K and T Cardinal Farms and it was absolutely perfect!
The farmhouse is stunning on acres of land with beautiful views in every direction. The inside has just been completely renovated, but the owner managed to find the exact balance of preserving the historical authenticity of the house and updating it with modern conveniences. The home has the warmth of nostalgia with the cleanliness of a new home. If “pristine nostalgia” is a house style, this one nails it!
We fell asleep to the sounds of the river across the street and woke up to the birds chirping. Chipmunks scampered around the coy pond, and two eagles and a hawk visited while we were there.
Our family ventured 5 minutes down the street one way for a farm with a fall festival complete with a corn maze, sunflower picking, a huge tube slide, goats, sheep, and chickens. Then for dinner we ventured 5 minutes the other way into the quaint village of Montgomery for a delicious dining experience at the 88 Charles Street Cafe.
If you’re looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate, I highly recommend letting this home away from home be your oasis. We’ll definitely be heading back!
Absolutely beautiful area, house is exquisite! Very comfortable stay, beautiful room! Loved hearing the waterfall out my bedroom window at night, lovely hostess!
