A very nice facility with great service. I feel that Dr. Frederick listened to my concerns, took his time with my horse, and was wonderful about explaining his findings. He was also wonderful about reaching out to check up on her and we have had great communication through this process.

It has been such a pleasure getting to know and work with Dr. Frederick. His practice is well run, with thoughtful, knowledgeable support staff in the office and out in the field. Dr. Frederick's well visits have been thorough, unrushed, kind and gentle with the horse being examined, and I think he strikes a good balance of meeting the client where they're at for chronic and acute conditions--offering a full range of interventions from conservative, "watchful waiting", to informing the client of more aggressive treatment plans possible without placing undue pressure and respecting the client's choice either way. He's always struck me as very well researched, up on the latest best practices, and also rooted in a lot of practical experience. He, and the practice as a whole, have really checked every box in what I hope to find in an equine vet practice. They're a huge asset to the area.

Dr. Jeremy Frederick has been taking impeccable care of my horse with the utmost professionalism and expertise since our first visit in March of 2021. From routine wellness and nutrition, to intra-articular injections using the most advanced therapies, to curing stubborn infections, Dr. Frederick has never led us wrong. My horse continues to thrive and be exuberantly active. You can’t go wrong with Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley.

Dr. Frederick has taken care of my mare’s health for more than five years now and I cannot recommend Advanced Equine enough. He and his team have been consistently excellent in their care and communication. Whether it is a wellness check-up or an emergency visit, I know Dr. Frederick will always go above and beyond (for example by consulting specialists when needed or following up after a visit). Dr. Frederick has also worked with me on my mare’s fear of needles, and we are now at a point where she can relax during vet visits. We couldn’t be happier with the care he provides!

I had the good fortune of encountering Dr Frederick and AEHV a few years back, shortly before purchasing my horse Cabba. Starting with our thorough and well-documented PPE, the AEHV team has provided expert wellness care, maintenance, dental work and - when needed - sick care for Cabba and, more recently, our new family member Luna.

Dr Frederick and his team are accessible, responsive and professional. Always maintaining an easygoing, gentle approach, they operate according to the principles of modern, evidence-based veterinary medicine and equitation science, offering sensible options for care and easy-to-understand explanations.
