We had a very nice experience here. Angelina was our waitress and she did a wonderful job. I am really not that experienced with Middle Eastern food - but I liked what I had- the Kufta Plate. They give you some very nice pita bread with your meal, and I thought that the humus was great (and I am not a big fan of humus).
I should have picked the French fries instead of the red cabbage.
I thought that the portions were generous. The Falafel reminded me of what Southerners call "Hush Puppies", but of course they are different.
From the second you walk in to Allan's Falafel in Chester, Allan and his team make you feel like family, the kind of genuine warmth and kindness that keeps you coming back just as much as the food.
And speaking of the food… everything is incredible. The falafel is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and every dish is packed with fresh, vibrant flavor. You can truly taste the care that goes into every bite.
But let’s talk about the pumpkin cheesecake.
Out of this world! Creamy, perfectly spiced, and absolutely unforgettable. It’s one of those desserts you think about long after you’ve finished it, the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
Allan’s Falafel is a true treasure in Chester. Every visit feels special, and I can’t recommend it enough!
Delicious food but extremely overpriced probably not going back. But thank you for a nice lunch. My local falafel place is legit half the price for more food.
Let me start by saying that I've always been Allan's biggest fan. But last night we ordered food instead of dining in and we were disappointed. I always love their Falafel pita sandwich, but when I opened it up at home it was all mashed up, tzatziki sauce was almost non existent and no hummus. It also only had one tiny bite of tomato. So it was just mashed falafel and lettuce. What happened guys?! My daughter also order a chicken gyro that had only 2 little pieces of chicken and also had hardly any sauce. What's going on guys, I know you were busy last night but that shouldn't be an excuse to lower your quality of food! Please don't let me down again, I've been a loyal customer for many years.
Service here is really top notch, the food is really good and fresh. Worth every penny, as someone who lives in the city, this place is a gem.
If I am back here again I will be visiting this place.
