Magoya

I came here on a Sunday at 130 just driving through town, everything was amazing! We got 3 different special rolls, and all were fresh and yummy. My fiancé got the Box B, it's a lot of food! I got the chicken katsu which was super yummy, it came with a vegetable salad and some rice. My mom got the dumpling soup and crab salad and she loved both! Service was good, bathrooms are clean. We will be back!

I truly love this place... The seating and the owners are just the best! The food is fresh and always amazing.. From the soups, the appetizers, the dinners, the sushi's are truly prepared so well.. The Lobster Rolls along with the Mango Rolls are truly the BEST EVER... Short trip from Monroe to an amazing place... I truly recommend the food and the friendly staff... Everything is prepared fresh and well.. A+++++++++ to my friends at Magoya!

Went with my daughter and grands. The place was nice and clean. The bimbap was delicious, we had the sushi roll with seaweed and mango, the kids loved it along with their chicken katsu. The crispy fried dumplings were amazing! We were pleased. The Sushi man’s attitude was a bit “sour” not even a smile. But the female server was pleasant, she even stirred my Bimbap. Would I go back? Sure.

Atmosphere was great and thought we gonna have fantastic experience here. We were wrong. 1st, the server would not bring a glass of water to my 5 year old. I thought she forgot and reminded her but still no water was brought to my kid. 2nd, it took probably 45 min for the miso soup to be served and forever for the bento boxes to come out. 3rd, the sashimi was a disappointment- the color and texture of the tuna were not good. 4th, I was charged extra dollar for the roll we ordered. When I pointed it out, the server brought out her notebook and said it was increased. I asked her to check the menu (because that’s what we were given to order food, not the notebook!) and I was right. She then said I could deduct one dollar from the tip… wouldn’t come again and won’t recommend anyone to come.
