Apple Floor Covering & Window Treatments

Prefacing my review by saying we are not related, friends with, or ever met Joe, the owner of APple flooring before I reached out to him for an estimate for carpeting for the stairs in my condo. Looked online and found Apple Flooring had excellent reviews yet still had some doubts whether or not they were real reviews. I called and spoke with Liz, who was exceptionally nice. Joe, the owner,, came to give us a complimentary estimate. He definitely knew what he was talking about, didn't pressure us, seemed very honest, and although the job was labor intensive his estimate was extremely fair. Also liked supporting a local business. We're very happy with the carpet and the installation was done exactly the way we wanted. Only regret is that we didn't find Joe and Apple Flooring prior to installing our luxury vinyl flooring! Plan to go back to make a runner for my entry. Highly recommend Joe and Apple flooring

Apple Floor Covering did an amazing job. I moved into a new house and needed to get carpet quickly. Apple Floor Covering came to the rescue! They got me a sample the next day and installed the carpet in less than two weeks from ordering.

We also ordered luxury vinyl flooring from them, as well as, two area rugs.

Joe and his staff are a pleasure to work with and I can’t recommend them enough. You won’t be disappointed!

Apple flooring is truly sensational! The quality of the products as well as. the workmanship! I just had my stairs done. I could not be happier with the carpet as well as the unbelievable installers! Bravo Apple carpet !! I can’t wait to decorate more so that I could have a truly a wonderful experience as I did today!! I recommend anyone that wants gorgeous floors and luxurious carpet at great prices to Apple flooring!!

I really wanted to support local business during the pandemic which is why we chose to go with these guys for our Blind and Carpet installation in a home we are renovating.
The two positives from this was the gentlemen who came with the owner to install the carpet, as well as the lady who answers the phone when you call the main number. Both were great to work with.
However, I was extremely disappointed with the blind installation as well as the mess that was left behind each time they had to come; and yes I say each time because it took three visits to complete the installation and fix the issues on the blinds.
The owner did the initial blind installation and carpet was installed by one of his helpers which the carpet installer(helper) was great!
After several hours, the owner had a crew come and finish up on the blinds. The crew that came were three guys who came in the late afternoon and smelled of alcohol. They were missing holes when drilling, and basically did the bare minimum to get the blinds up and get out. We had 8 windows done. After the crew left we realized half the windows were missing the ends on the valances, and the cuts made on the others were inconsistent; also the wands were different lengths (didn't match), and there was a crack in one of the blinds.
I called to voice my concerns and the woman at the office was very nice and apologetic. We decided to have them come do the 9th window since they were going to have to come for a second visit to address the other issues.
The owner came the second and third time to "fix" the issues and complete the other installation.
He used the saw and some of the other tools we had around because we were doing other renovations, which was ok and we gave permission, however tools were left out including an open blade the second time, sawdust everywhere, a box of unused materials, pieces of the cut valances left on the front porch, and packing materials in the rooms from the blinds. Granted, we are doing other renovations so the place isn't spotless, but we are living in the space, and I have a two year old running around, so the last thing we needed is their mess to also clean up, and it isn't like we got some discounted pricing. Very unprofessional.
After the third visit, we found the valance on the last window was still measured improperly and the end pieces are about 1/2 inch too short. The cuts are not clean and don't line up. He had to of noticed this after making the cuts and finishing the installation, but said nothing and left.
Overall I felt they must not value our business maybe because it was only 3 rooms and 9 windows ?? I have no idea why this simple job was done so poorly.
Would never recommend this company, nor will we be using them for the rest of this home or others.
