Upscale and upbeat steakhouse in Rye that offers much more than steak. Everything was delicious - lobster crabcake, seafood pasta and the bread pudding are particularly memorable. Excellent staff and manager - great service is an obvious priority here.

Averna is a unique restaurant in this world because of its atmosphere. Sami, the owner, is a perfectionist and is unstoppable. The food is superb and one feels like they are eating with family. I generally dine at the bar, where I have met many interesting people - including
professional athletes and politicians. Highest recommendation.

When I tell this place is phenomenal!!!! I had the grilled lamb lollipops as an appetizer , my partner had Escargot a la bourguignonne, we had No complaints!!!! As our entrée he had the bone in ribeye 29 oz! I had the surf and turf the lobster tails was like silk, and the filet mignon was like butter!! This place is superb The service is beyond. Excellent I meant Sammi the owner who is very attentive. I will be back here again and again and again!!!!

Everything was delicious, from the burrata and prosciutto, to the juicy, well-roasted porterhouse, to the chocolate lava cake dessert.

For those with pepper allergies, I'm sorry to say the hash browns were delicious, but with pepper, so if you're allergic, don't order it.

The birthday song for my wife along with the dessert was a nice touch.
