From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and cozy, paired with an immaculate music selection that sets the perfect mood. The food is a 10/10. You go in expecting familiar Indian flavors and leave completely blown away by the intricate details inspired by different regions of India, beautifully infused with modern twists.
Every dish stands out — from the thoughtful plating to the perfectly balanced spices and deeply authentic flavors. You can truly taste the craftsmanship in every bite. The staff is equally impressive: soft-spoken, warm, and genuinely sweet, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend stopping by for weekend brunch, and whatever you do — do not skip the mocktails. An absolute must-visit.
I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Banjara Restaurant in Bethpage, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was truly amazing authentic Indian flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and dishes that were clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail.
The appetizers especially stood out. They were incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented, making them just as enjoyable to look at as they were to eat. My absolute favorite was the burrata saag it was rich, comforting, and completely irresistible. I honestly couldn’t stop devouring it and would go back just for that dish alone.
The atmosphere at Banjara was warm and inviting, which made it the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday. What really elevated the experience even more was the staff. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening.
Overall, Banjara is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for outstanding Indian food, great service, and a comfortable, celebratory vibe. I highly recommend it for both special occasions and casual dining, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.😍😋
Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating my son's birthday at a charming and intimate restaurant with a delightful ambiance.
For appetizers, we selected the basket chaat, vegetable momos, and dahi kabab. From the non-vegetarian options, we chose the Banjara chicken kabab and kakori kabab. Each appetizer was exceptionally well-prepared, bursting with flavor and spices, and truly delicious.
Our main course included the lithhi chokha, a dish not commonly found in Indian restaurants here, along with paneer pinwheel. For non-vegetarian selections, we enjoyed the butter chicken and lal maas (smoked goat), accompanied by garlic naan and laccha parantha. Every dish was outstanding, featuring rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices.
The presentation of all the dishes was also very impressive, with beautiful plating. The prices were quite reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes.
The service was excellent; our server, Deep, and another team member checked on us frequently to ensure our satisfaction. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
We had the pleasure of returning to Banjara for brunch, and they truly never miss! From the moment we sat down, everything — the atmosphere, the service, and of course, the food — was incredible.
We started with their chai and mango lassi, both classics and perfectly done — creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The Four Seasons appetizer was a fun way to kick things off, followed by the chapli burger and achari paneer, which had such a rich, smoky flavor and beautiful presentation.
The lamb shank was easily one of the standout dishes — tender, savory, and full of spice that paired perfectly with warm roti. And for dessert, their tres leches cake was the perfect ending — so moist and light, we’re already craving it again.
Banjara continues to impress us every visit. If you’re looking for a brunch spot that blends incredible Indian flavors with creative presentation, this is your sign to visit Banjara in Bethpage.
