Susie and Cindy were so very comforting during our time of loss. We originally had euthanasia planned for our beloved pup, however he ended up passing on his own. They were there to pick him up within 2 hours of our call to them (which was at 6am). They were super loving and supportive. We will never forget their kindness.
Today I had to say goodbye to my best friend. My heart is broken. Thanks to Dr. Little, Susie and Cindy from Tender Comforts, I was able to hold my boy under a big oak tree and tell him how much I loved him as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I will never be able to thank them enough for providing me with this opportunity to show him just how much I loved him. They sat with me, listened to my memories - even looked at pictures. I will never forget their kindness and obvious love of animals. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Dr. Little, his wife Susie and his loyal vet tech Cindy, were amazing! They were compassionate, kind, loving and incredibly efficient. They outlined every step, told us what to expect and helped us to give our beloved dog the perfect ending she deserved. Dignified, peaceful and pain free. It was truly a blessing. We will be forever grateful.
I am deeply saddened with the loss of my cat, Mai. I am so happy I had somebody come to the house. That was the hardest day of my life. Susie answered the phone right away and scheduled the appointment immediately. I appreciated that as the dread build up was terrible. Dr. Litter and Cindy saw me in such a emotional state. They kept their cool and walked me through the process. They allowed the final moments of my cat to be in comfort in my arms, in the sun, on the heated blanket. I will use them again, but hopefully not any time soon.
While I knew my beloved 14-year-old Golden Retriever was nearing her final days, I assumed my vet would be available to help us through this difficult time. Unfortunately, they were fully booked (yes, really!), leaving me scrambling for alternatives on a Friday afternoon. I called a few services I found online, but it felt like I was speaking with a call center—everything was so impersonal.
Then I discovered Tender Comforts, and I couldn’t be more grateful. My family chose to take our dog to their beautiful farm instead of having them come to our home. The setting was peaceful and serene, and Dr. Little and Susie were incredibly warm and compassionate.
On a lovely September Saturday morning, we said our goodbyes in the shade of a small tree. It was an incredibly difficult process, but I can’t imagine a more professional or personal way to navigate it. Tender Comforts truly made a heartbreaking experience a little more bearable, and for that, I will always be thankful.
