It has a really cozy, rustic vibe that just fits the area perfectly. It’s a nice place to stop after exploring the trails, good atmosphere, warm interior, and plenty of space to relax. It feels like one of those classic Hudson Valley spots you’re glad you stumbled into.
We stayed in the Overlook Lodge because it was pet friendly. The grounds are beautiful and there are many hiking options. The walkway all around Hessian Lake was wonderful and the Zoo was fun. We had a great stay with our Golden Retriever although $60 a day is a bit steep. We would definitely stay here again though!
Bear Mountain Inn is a beautiful place to stay! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is excellent, and the location can’t be beat. 🌲🏞️ It’s peaceful, scenic, and close to great trails and outdoor activities.
Perfect for a solo getaway, business trip, or even a relaxing weekend. The value you get for the price is outstanding—I’d definitely stay here again!
