Jay went above & beyond to fix up my 2003 Kawi 636, at no point did he ever push for any unnecessary repairs. He was upfront & honest about the entire process & always kept me up to date on what was going on. I can’t say enough good things about him & his business, he truly is a gem in the riding community.

Very friendly and honest shop/owner. This was the only motorcycle shop in Suffolk that happily welcomed my business and had it done in a couple days. I called and visited a bunch of other motorcycle shops on the island that were straight up rude or didnt have proper equipment/experience to handle the work I needed. Was no problem at all for this shop. Highly recommended.

If you ride a motorcycle, you should get to know Jay Bick at Bick's Sunrise Cycle. He specializes in Ducati and other high performance liter bikes, and he applies that care, attention to detail, and expertise to other brands and styles of motorcycle. I brought my 2020 Triumph Bonneville to him after purchasing it used, and he did a full safety inspection on it. He pointed out all the maintenance items I needed to have done (tires, rear brake, chain and cable adjustments), but he also pointed out things I had asked about (a coolant flush) that he said weren't necessary. When you find a mechanic who says you don't need something you think you needed, you've found someone trustworthy. He is talented, honest, knowledgeable, his prices are fair, and he is truly one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. My motorcycle is my baby, and I wouldn't trust it to anyone else.

Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good doctor. With Bicks Sunrise Cycle, I hit the jackpot. I have 2002 Harley Ultra Classic with over 100k miles which I refurbished a few years ago. This summer my engine light started to come on periodically when I accelerated. It would turn off a few minutes later and ran fine through all of that. I took it on several long trips this summer with no problem other than that light, but I wanted it looked at. The Harley dealerships on LI wanted nothing to do with this bike, and several of the other places I called did not have the time to discuss the problem with me. Then I called Jay at Bicks Sunrise Cycle. He took the time to listen to me (like a good doctor would) and came up with a plan to diagnose the problem. He had to buy the proper harness to connect the bike to his diagnostic computer but did so....... and determined the problem was likely my ignition coil and/or plug wires. After calling to explain what he found, giving me the estimate, and getting my approval to proceed, he ordered the parts and made the repair quickly, DURING THANKSGIVING WEEK, allowing me to pick it up that weekend. In that time he also did the regular maintenance items I requested including changing the oil and flushing the brake system. He also went above and beyond what I asked for. While he had the tank off he checked the wiring harness and plugs since they were accessible, and told me they were fine and did NOT need replacing. Jay without question only wants the best for you and your bike. He will not tell you that you need work if it is not absolutely necessary. These are the kinds of gestures that really instill trust. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Jay. He is super smart and could not be nicer to deal with. I am fiercely loyal to anybody who is honest and gives me great service at a fair price. So Jay has a customer for life now. He will be my mechanic as long as I ride. Honestly I'd give him 10 stars if the scale went that high. Thanks Jay!

Brought in my recently purchased 2013 H-D Sportster Forty-Eight for tires after seeing the OEM Michelins 2013 date code...Yikes! Jay was good enough to recommend some great Dunlops that saved me some money over the replacement very pricey OEM's. Tires ordered, Install date and time set up and new rubber on. Jay was thorough enough to notice my brake fluid was also likely 12 years old. Tires on, brake fluid flushed and freshened all in the same appointment. Will absolutely be back! Thanks
