My family has been members of this temple for a few years now. My children attend the religious school and we attend Friday night services. There are many events (including dances, diners, kids movie and bingo nights, paint nights, and lots of others) that the temple hosts and all have been a good time. It's a great community to be a part of and we are always looking forward to what is coming up next. It's a very welcoming temple and I highly recommend B'nai Israel if you are looking for a synagogue.

Me and my wife have been members of Temple B'nai Isreal in Oakdale, NY for about 4 years. I think that the temple leaders and congregants and are very welcoming to new members and I find Rabbi Jessica Rosenthal and Cantor Ilana Plutzer, give 100% effort to provide engaging and enjoyable weekly shabbat services, as well as special services throughout the year. I have also used Rabbi Rosenthal for wedding and unveiling services where she was thoughtful in her preparation and presentation. I'm proud to be a member of this temple. MW

I moved to Suffolk in 2018 and found Bnai Israel a warm welcoming & inclusive congregation that has limped through the COVID years. Now, the in person events are happening & there is still Zoom access. Sisterhood programs & family services are very engaging.
