On May 24th 2024 my friend and I spend a beautiful shabbat at Rabbi Mandys house in Yonkers. Dear Mandy, dear Chanie, this was the most incredible evening which i‘ll never forget. The hospitality and warmth and joy that you emit is wonderful! Every friday I think about your amazing family and the remarkable evening we‘ve spend together! I hope we can meet again some day.
    With best regards

(Non Jewish) I had the privilege of attending Shabbat dinner with your Wonderful Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz. What a great experience, and wonderful Rabbi your community has. Beautiful family, the warm welcome he gave me , I hope I can return to your community in multiples. He's a 5 star kinda guy !

I'm not Jewish, but if I was I would be honored to belong here. Went there with my son to observe a Saturday service for a college class assignment. We called ahead and got Rabai Mendy's permission. Nicest people ever. Very welcoming and friendly.

Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz is a truly friendly and welcoming religious leader, open to discussion, questions, dialogue and hosts joyous Jewish events and holidays. I enjoy joking and sharing stories with his family, son and daughters, and his wife Chanie.
Joyiys and fulfilling Shabbat services followed by an always enjoyable kiddush, shared with everyone, combined with learning, discussion, conversation and comraderie.
Great Jewish holiday parties! Purim is great fun, and Chanukah is an eight day long celebration at different locations!
Come and learn, share, and enjoy!

Open, welcoming and inviting synagogue community for sharing and learning for anyone, regardless of background and previous commitment. Rituals promote helping with personal spiritual and religious needs and goals, and also inspire supporting community needs. Some folks here fearless in handing over a warm and serious coffee, with accompanying sweet and delicious treat, and/or useful message for anyone to motivate for a productive journey.
