A Wonderful Community for Our Family!

We couldn't be happier with the Greenburgh Hebrew Center. Our children absolutely loved their time at the Early Childhood Center, which was a fantastic foundation for them. Now, seeing them thrive and genuinely love going to Hebrew school is truly wonderful.

As parents, we've always felt incredibly welcome and embraced by the entire community here. It's more than just a synagogue; it's a warm and supportive place where our family feels right at home. We highly recommend GHC for any family looking for a vibrant and caring Jewish community!

My sons were raised and proudly had their bar mitzvah's here. It's a place where everyone knows your name. I was a member from 1991-2005. As members I was involved as PTA president for the religious school and volunteered many Shabbat mornings to help in the kitchen for the kiddush prep.
There are many congregational events for Purim carnival, superbowl, break the fast, men's and sisterhood clubs. Of course they have fundraisers !
The temple has stained glass windows that are beautiful.
All ages are welcome and the junior congregation as well as the tot shabbats keep the kids busy so the adults can daven.
Woman are welcome on the bee-mah.
I just don't like that woman wear kippot- that sort of gives me the creepers!
