Retro candy nostalgia? This is the place!
Step in to a compact world of yore. Exceptionally well organized. The store and adjacent auto-repairs is a 79-year old institution (as of 2025), casting a long, bright shadow and going strong.
Shelves with rows upon rows of candy jars, are geared to take you back dacades. I lost count at 210 types of sweet, sour, peppermint, root beer, punch, marbles, squeeze pops, floss, cigarettes (the candy variety), gums, canes, twists, butterscotch, marshmallow, rings, fudge....
Also available, wide, wild assortment of board games, toys, vintage toy cars, pennants with inspirational inscriptions, vintage posters; and stuff out of childhood amnesia, like Gumbys, Colorform sets, Whoopie cushions, Coca Cola pails, classic Waterfuls, cobra black snake, pan flute, siren whistles, bounce balls, beach balls....on and on. It's mind boggling and so heart-warming.
Ever so attentive and helpful owners are the best part; who also operate the adjacent 5-shutter automobile repair shop. Another classic, that for another review, another day.
Great Fun Place to go and see a lot of old time candy, games and tops baseball cards from 1986 in there original packaging with the gum.
Amazing place 2 retro act, memories of the past of the youth that understood that all you had was a toy to play with and family members to play with. Back when I'm sure candy was still no good. But a bit more pricey I remember most of the candy being 1 cent 5 cents the price has changed Thank you for being able to put me in a place. Where?🤔
