I highly recommend Dr Burke, he’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever gone too. Very thorough, highly skilled and a caring person.
Dr. Burke gives care, real care. I see him for monthly osteopathic manipulations, which always begin with his question, "How are you?" A 15-minute, eye-to-eye discussion ensues during which he answers my questions and makes recommendations. The osteopathic manipulation that follows has cured a structural problem stemming from a long-ago accident and the current issues that crop up in my 70-something body. I experience Dr. Burke as my health-care partner, never as a condescending practitioner. I've recommended him to a friend, who is as enthusiastic about his care as I am, and I'd recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Burke is amazing. 100% patient oriented. He always takes the time to listen and explain things; I rarely encounter a practitioner so knowledgeable.
It's worth noting that while it can sometimes appear like he's just laying on hands, he's NOT performing some reiki-esque energy healing -- Dr. Burke engages nerve, muscle, and lymph systems with gentle pressure that gradually and effectively return the body's mechanics to a more neutral posture (or at least that's the best I can describe it without having attended medical school!).
I have already recommended him to a number of family and friends.
I went to Dr Burke' with little expectation for help with pain in my hip.I had been experiencing bad pain in the hip for months and thought It must be arthritis. My first visit he took thorough back ground info. I then went for 3 or 4 visits on an exam table where it seemed as if he was doing nothing more but, wave or hold a hand over different area's of the body.
Nice as he was and his manner is very calming, on my first visit I thought " what a quack"
I was and still very happy to say, I was very wrong. He did some type of energy healing that absolutetly took away the pain. Which turned out to be muscular pain in my case.
I would reccomend to anyone to just try this medicine out . Dr Burke was a bit of a miracle!
