Denis never leaves you on your own for more than a few minutes, unlike other places I’ve been. He is aware of you even if working with another patient and will offer a critique or encouragement from afar. The staff are always pleasant, courteous and friendly. They know what you need next - heat, ice, bands, etc so you don’t need to wait.
I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! My orthopaedist agrees!

Hudson Valley Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (HVOSPT)is exceptional.

As newcomers to the area, I was seeking a physical therapist for my insured right arm. HVOSPT stood out, and I promptly made an appointment.

The receptionist was wonderful—efficient and empathetic. She informed me that Dennis Lopez was fully booked until July but promised to notify me if there was a cancellation. True to her word, she did!

Upon arriving for my appointment, the front staff displayed professionalism and courtesy. Dennis himself greeted me and attentively listened to my issue.

After just two sessions, my arm already feels better. Dennis is courteous, thorough, and highly professional. He explained the process and provided exercises for me to do at home. I'll definitely be returning to him for any other issues that may arise from all the workouts, biking, and running I do. Thank you, Dennis and team!

I went to Dr. Lopez’s practice for PT for shoulder rotator cuff surgery, and the whole team was fantastic! They took their time with me, lots of 1:1 guidance and instruction, but also they taught me how to continue rehab on my own. I feel safe, seen, and respected. I’ve gone back for some spine issues; I won’t go anywhere else!

Great place for physical therapy. Dennis is kind and friendly. I came here for bursitis in my hip and he explained why I was having the pain and how it would be treated. Dennis has been carefully increasing movement through exercises. I can enjoy hiking again and everyday activities are now without pain. All the staff are professional, and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

I came to Dennis and HVOSPT for a severe shoulder injury after trying another PT that kept flaring me up. Karen, Dennis, and Jacqui and everyone here were so nice, and knew exactly what to do. The intake was kind and thorough, and Dennis has so much experience. He knew the best exercises for me and how to increase me gradually so I didn't flare up at all. On top of that, they were friendly and made me feel very welcome. The whole atmosphere is one of a nice community where you like to hang out. My shoulder is great now, I can lift it above my head, dance, and swim! I'm so glad to have found awesome PT!! Thank you!
